Welcome to Balfron Church of Scotland Linked with Fintry
At the heart of the congregation’s life and work is the gospel of Jesus Christ, the good news that God loves us and accepts us through faith in him.
As the parish church, we recognise and value our partnership in the gospel with other branches of the Christian Church and this is reflected in the presence among us of folk who would describe themselves first as Baptist or Free Church etc.
Our Mission is: “To grow as a worshipping, loving community, actively seeking to bring others to Christ”
The Church of Scotland Ministries Council has appointed the Rev Iain Goring to the charge of Balfron linked with Fintry as Interim Minister.

Church Charity Projects
It was decided at a recent Kirk Session that we should support an overseas mission project with Tearfund's Connected Church. This will run in much the same way as with the World Vision project in Cambodia. We have pledged to raise £1000 a year to support a project called Shalom. Read more...
Church bells
There is a discussion on the Balfron village website about the church bells. Does anyone know their history? Have we lost one?
