Christian Aid Week

 

I am delighted to report that we sent the sum of £2,123.27 to Christian Aid, £207 of which was the splendid amount raised at the lunch held in the Church Rooms at the start of the week.  This is an increase on last year’s figure which is quite amazing when taking into consideration the present financial situation.

Many thanks for the generosity of the people who attended the lunch and to everyone who helped to make it happen.  Also, sincere thanks to the collectors for ringing all those doorbells and to the counters for doing their sums.  The efforts of all involved are greatly appreciated.
