Welcome

Our latest 'virtual' service was broadcast at 11.15am on Sunday 5th July

Coronavirus Information

Following guidance from the Scottish Government and the Church of Scotland, we are now able to open Balfron Church for individual prayer.

Therefore, our church sanctuary will be open this Sunday, 12th of July, from 10am until 12 noon for individuals.

We are offering our church as a place for you to be silent, to pray, to meditate, or even just to sit still.

We have put necessary measures in place so that we can all follow good hygiene practice and keep a safe physical distance.

You will be required to wear a face-mask and to sanitise your hands on entering the building. Our volunteers will be there to help you with this new situation.

We are not yet permitted to conduct public worship, inside our outside. Therefore we will continue to offer our online services for everyone.

For pastoral care needs please phone or email

Our prayers are with you all at this worrying time,

"This is what God says to you, who created you and formed you:
Do not be afraid, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name, you are mine."
(Isaiah 43:1)

On Facebook you can send messages and prayer requests to us, and we will be posting bible verses and video clips.

You can also view the video clips on Youtube.

...and we will be putting news and other information on our "Kirk in Quarantine" section of the website.

The Church of Scotland website also has suggestions and links to many different ways to celebrate Easter together. Click here to go to their page.

There are also services of worship and religious programmes broadcast on Radio 4, Radio Scotland and other stations which may be of interest to our members and friends.

Our usual Sunday Worship starts at 11.15am and is an hour-long service of praise, prayer and the hearing of God’s word for the world.

Coffee and tea is available in the Church Rooms after the service and we warmly invite you to join us.

Transport to and from church can be arranged (contact us) and details of how to find us are on the Visiting page.
  • Communion is usually celebrated on the 1st Sunday in the month, from September to June.
  • On the 3rd Sunday in the month, our service is usually a family sevice and is accompanied by our Praise Band.

Accessibility
We have ramped access from both the main front entrance and from the rear car park. We also have accessible toilets, a hearing loop fitted to the main church and large print notices and hymnsheets/books are available.
